Election season is starting, hooray (said no one ever). Since moving one of my domains to a new email provider, I am starting to see political type spam in my mailbox. Because I am a cynical SOB and have a little time on my hands, I feel like a critique of a particular spam email I received is due.

First - let’s take a look at this “beaut”: Full of ads, links to try to scare you, etc. Makes you wonder who may be the target of the ad?

So who are these “patriots”? Let us check the media review of this sit:e

A better look at this information on this site:

Really? Propaganda? Conspiracy? Color me shocked. Now the real question is how I got this email? Was my data sold by an entity that I donated in the past (looking at you Libertarian Party or Gary Johnson), or maybe I can hope that my mail provider can do a better job of filtering them out over the next several months.

And to the “sender”, as an independent (NPA) voter here in Florida, I would rather eat glass with a chemical sludge chaser that vote for the autocratic, anti-free speech DeSantis in the next election. The coming elections, it is necessary to vote out the election deniers, the J6 supporters, and autocrats, and any others purveying anti-democratic tendencies. It is too important to sit out.
